Abstract: The present disclosure provides a clamping device (100, 400) for releasably coupling two sanitary fittings (202). The clamping device (100, 400) comprises a first clamp member (102) and a second clamp member (104), which are hinged together. The first clamp member (102) moves relative to the second clamp member (104) between an unlocked and a locked position. In the unlocked position, a space between the first and second clamp members (102, 104) allows the fittings (202) to be inserted, and in the locked position, the first and second clamp members (102, 104) form a fluid-tight seal around the fittings (202). A threaded screw (106) on the first clamp member (102) engages with a screw-engaging member (108) on the second clamp member (104). A locking lever (110) is configured to control movement of the first clamp member (102) between the unlocked and locked positions.
