Abstract: A child swing and protection device, comprises a circular base 101, an extendable telescopic rod 103 arranged at the centre of the base 101 to extend and position a circular ring 104 at an appropriate height above the base 101, a circular slider 105 integrated with the ring, the slider 105 configured to move a plurality of handles 106 arranged circumferentially on the ring, each handle mounted via an extendable bar 107 that extend or retract the handles 106 to position the handles 106 at an optimal reach for the child, an imaging unit 108 detects the child’s height in real time, a weather sensing module to detect environmental conditions in real time and a canopy arrangement 109 integrated over the ring 104 by means of an articulated linkage 110 to protect the child on detection of excessive sunlight or rainfall by the weather sensing module.
