MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511018852 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology Deemed To-Be University; and Shobhit University, Gangoh on March 03, 2025, for Cheese Block Inspection And Cutting Device.

Abstract: A cheese block inspection and cutting device, comprising a body 1 configured with plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit detects exact location of the cheese block in warehouse, multiple telescopically operated rods 4 extend for positioning the body 1 in proximity to the cheese block, two telescopically operated grippers 5 placing cheese block on a platform 6, a robotic arm 8 equipped with a mallet 9 for striking the cheese block and an acoustic sensor detects sound waves generated upon striking of the cheese block, a blade 10 is positioned on block by a telescopically operated bar 11, and simultaneously a motorized two-axis lead screw arrangement 12 provides suitable bi-directional motion to the bar 11 in view of cutting the cheese block as per the user- selected dimensions.
