MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617094494 A) filed by Tmeic Corporation on August 04, 2026, for Chassis Dynamometer.
Inventors include Kohyama Yasushi; and Kuwahara Atsushi.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a chassis dynamometer that performs a travel test of a vehicle by generating a steering wheel restoring force when a traveling state of the vehicle is a steering turning state. A turning model controller (21) in a chassis dynamometer (1) according to the present disclosure executes a turning determination process and a turning command angle calculation process on the basis of left turning information (S1L) and right steering angle information (S1R). The turning determination process is a process for determining whether the traveling state of the vehicle (60) is a steering turning state or a straight traveling state. The turning command angle calculation process is a process for calculating a left turning command angle (?lv) and a right turning command angle (?rv) for controlling a roller turning mechanism (DM1) during the steering turning state. The left turning command angle (?lv) is smaller than a left steering angle (?l) indicated by the left steering angle information (S1L), and the right turning command angle (?rv) is smaller than a right steering angle (?r) indicated by the right steering angle information (S1R).
