Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Techniques described herein provide for determining channel state information (CSI) report priority for a CSI report that includes a predicted channel characteristic for a resource. The UE may determine a priority for the CSI report from a set of priorities including a higher priority associated with CSI reports including a measured layer one channel characteristic and a lower priority associated with channel state information reports including information other than the measured layer one channel characteristic. The UE may transmit the CSI report based on the priority.
