Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to channel state information (CSI) for beam reporting. An apparatus (e.g., user equipment (UE)) generates one or more channel state information (CSI) reports using event-triggered beam reporting associated with a set of reference signals and based at least in part on a CSI reporting setting including two sets of CSI reporting setting parameters including: a first set of CSI reporting setting parameters corresponding to a first period of first CSI measurement and a first CSI report for beam management, and a second set of CSI reporting setting parameters corresponding to a second period of second CSI measurement. The apparatus monitors a set of events based at least in part on second CSI measurements during the second period, and transmits a second CSI report for the beam management including an updated set of values compared with corresponding values of the first CSI report.
