Abstract: ABSTRACT CHAMBER GAUGE FOR 105MM CALIBRE M14 (SHOT) CARTRIDGE CASE The present invention a high - precision chamber gauge specifically designed for 105mim calibre M14 SHOT cartridge cases, which is replica of the 105mm calibre artillery gun chamber/housing used before assembly of the projectile Shell assembly. In an embodiment, the invention comprises a high precision chamber gauge used for inspection and verifying the dimensions of 105mm calibre M4 (SHOT) cartridge case. The gauge ensures that cartridge cases meet the required tolerances for proper functioning in artillery system. The design includes a cylindrical body with a stepped profile, allowing it to check key dimensions such as diameter, length and concentricity. The gauge is manufactured using hardened and tampered alloy steel (T9OMn6WCr2) to with stand wear and tear while maintaining dimensional stability. The Chamber gauge consists of 03 parts out of which 02 parts are to be manufactured as per customized drawings as per the gauge design and the remaining parts are fasteners and standard hardware components. Figure 1 is the representative figure.
