Abstract: This invention discloses a chalk holder comprising an ergoncimic hollow body configured to securely accommodate chalk pieces of varying lengths through a spring- assisted gripping mechanism. The holder includes a detachable front sleeve with a locking arrangement that firmly retains the chalk while allowing quick insertion and replacement without direct hand contact. The body is fabricated from lightweight, durable material and is designed with an anti-slip textured surface to provide a comfortable grip during prolonged writing. A retractable advancement mechanism is incorporated to gradually extend the chalk as it wears, enabling efficient utilization of even small chalk remnants and minimizing material wastage. The enclosed design significantly reduces the user's exposure to chalk dust, thereby improving hygiene and reducing skin irritation. The compact and reusable construction enhances writing precision, prevents accidental chalk breakage, and increases the overall service life of the chalk. The proposed chalk piece holder offers a cost-effective, user-friendly, and sustainable solution for educational institutions, training centers, and other environments where blackboard writing is frequently employed, while improving user comfort, operational efficiency, and resource utilization
