Abstract: A centrifuging drum (1) of a centrifuge with a vertical axis of rotation (D), wherein the centrifuging drum (1) is intended for separating a product (P) for processing into a solid phase (Fs) and into at least one liquid phase (FI) in a centrifugal field, and wherein the centrifuging drum (1) comprises at least the following: a) a drum bowl (14) which encloses a separating space (13), in which the actual centrifugal separation of the product (P) takes place; b) wherein radially on the outside of the separating space (13) there is a solids collection space (15), in which the solid phase (Fs) separated from the flowable product (P) collects during the separating and/or clarifying operation; c) a discharging system for discharging the solid phase (Fs) from the solids collection space (15) of the centrifuging drum (1), wherein d) while the solids are being discharged, multiple solids outlet openings (17) circumferentially distributed around the drum bowl of the centrifuging drum (1) and passing through the drum bowl radially from the inside to the outside can be opened up, wherein e) a wear-protection element (200) is form-fittingly inserted radially from the inside in the respective solids outlet opening (17).
