MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511003763 A) filed by Cellmed Biotech Pvt. Ltd on February 16, 2025, for Cell-Free Bioactive Component Formulation, Method For Preparation And A Delivery Platform For Multi-Format Administration.

Inventor includes Lalit Jaiswal.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a standardized, cell-free mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived bioactive formulation, its method for preparation, and a format-specific delivery platform for veterinary applications. The formulation is derived from adipose tissue MSC secretome and comprises quantified growth factors, cytokines, chemokines, amino acids, vitamins, and inorganic salts in an aqueous medium. Representative bioactive molecules include PDGF-BB, VEGF, FGF, CTGF, EGF, PGE2, MCP-1, IL-1ß, IL-7, IL-8, NGF, SDF1a, and TGF-ß. The formulation is substantially free of viable cells and characterized by defined protein concentration, physiological pH, osmolarity, sterility, endotoxin compliance, clarity, and refrigerated stability, ensuring batch-to-batch reproducibility. The method includes adipose tissue collection, MSC isolation and expansion, conditioned media harvesting, and sterile processing through filtration, concentration, purification, and quality control testing to produce a scalable, reproducible cell-free preparation. The delivery platform provides injectable, topical, and ophthalmic formulations tailored for orthopedic, immunomodulatory, neurological, dermatological, glandular, and ophthalmic applications across animal species.
