Abstract: There is provided a method performed by a user equipment, the method comprising: supporting at least one of a first reception mode with only one receive (Rx) branch or a second reception mode with at least two Rx branches; detecting, from a network node associated with a cell, at least one of a first barring indication associated with the first reception mode or a second bar-ring indication associated with the second reception mode; determining whether a predetermined condition is met based on the supported at least one reception mode and at least one of the first barring indication and the second barring indication; and determining that the cell is barred for the user equipment when the predetermined condition is met.
