In particular, examples of the systems and methods discussed herein provide a generic and scalable design to support carrying sub-components of a video-based dynamic mesh coding (V-DMC) or similar bitstream, such as a base mesh, sub-meshes, and displacement information, in an ISOBMFF media container.
