Abstract: ABSTRACT CARDIAC MASSAGER DEVICE A cardiac massager device: a non-elastic lumen (108, 102) to extend axially by pneumatic eversion upon introduction of pressurized air; an elastic lumen (111, 101) positioned in downstream pneumatic communication with the non-elastic lumen (108, 102), the elastic lumen (111, 101) being radially expandable; and a void space (507) providing a pneumatic pathway between the non-elastic lumen (108, 102) and the elastic lumen (111, 101); pressurized air first produces axial extension of the non-elastic lumen (108, 102) and thereafter passes through the void space (507) to cause radial expansion of the elastic lumen (111, 101), thereby generating sequential locomotion followed by cardiac compression; wherein the dual-lumen architecture is configured such that, during a penetration phase, the flexible, non-elastic lumen provides structural deployment and forward locomotion with length-extending, radially constrained behaviour, and during a cardiac massage phase, the flexible elastic lumen provides radial expansion and balloon-like volumetric expansion for cardiac compression [[FIGURE 1]]
