MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641100552 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences on August 20, 2026, for Carbon Powder Reinforced Polycarbonate Fan Wheel For Hvac Blower Motors.

Inventors include Mr. R. Endymion Grosious; Dr Ramya Mohan; and Dr. Natrayan Lakshmaiya.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-performance HVAC blower motor fan wheel for automotive and industrial applications, fabricated from a polycarbonate (PC) composite reinforced with carbon powder. The reinforcement improves mechanical strength, structural stability, and durability under continuous operational loads, making it superior to conventional ABS or polypropylene (PP) fan wheels. The fan wheel exhibits enhanced dimensional stability, resistance to deformation, iand reliable performance under high-speed rotation and thermal variations. The component can, be manufactured using injection moulding or precision moulding techniques, ensuring reproducibility, dimensional accuracy, and cost-effective mass production. The invention provides a durable, high-strength, and thermally stable solution for blower motor systems, enhancing efficiency and lifespan.
