Abstract: A carbon fiber aggregate, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The carbon fiber aggregate comprises a plurality of carbon fiber basic units which are not directionally arranged, wherein the carbon fiber basic unit comprises carbon fiber bundles formed by a plurality of carbon fibers and optional single carbon fiber; the carbon fiber bundles are carbon fiber bundle filaments which are fixed together. At least one fixed node is arranged on the carbon fiber bundle filaments; both ends of each carbon fiber in the length direction is taken as carbon fiber ends and the number of carbon fiber ends contained in each gram of carbon fiber aggregate is more than 1×106 in the number of carbon fiber ends. The carbon fiber aggregate can be used to crack organic matters by microwave heating in a microwave field and to prepare a synthesis gas by using carbon dioxide in the microwave field, wherein the organic matters include one or more of plastics, biomass and organic volatiles.
