Abstract: ABSTRACT CAPS FOR FLUID RESERVOIRS A cap (100) includes an inner cover (104), an outer cover (102), and a biasing member (126). The inner cover (104) 5 includes a locking mechanism (119) for sealing the reservoir opening and a first engagement member (124). The outer cover (102) at least partially encloses the inner cover (104) and has a complementary second engagement member (114). The biasing member (126) couples the inner cover (104) and the outer cover (102), and 10 exerts a biasing force on the outer cover (102) to maintain the first engagement member (124) and the second engagement member (114) in a disengaged state, allowing relative rotational motion between the inner cover (104) and the outer cover (102). When an external force overcoming the biasing force is applied, the first engagement member (124) and the 15 second engagement member (114) move to an engaged state where the inner cover (104) rotates integrally with the outer cover (102).
