MUMBAI, India, Oct. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611104559 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering And Technology Niet on August 31, 2026, for Camera-Radio Co-Located Sensor Module And Method For Vision-Constrained Target Association In Automotive Ofdm Sensing.
Inventors include Ravi Anand; and Julie Devi.
The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: CAMERA-RADIO CO-LOCATED SENSOR MODULE AND METHOD FOR VISION-CONSTRAINED TARGET ASSOCIATION IN AUTOMOTIVE OFDM SENSING An integrated camera-radio frequency automotive sensing system (100) is disclosed, wherein an imaging sensor (111) and an OFDM transceiver (112) are mounted on a common substrate (115), share a common local oscillator (113) and are synchronized by a controller (114) that aligns image capture with symbol boundaries. An edge preprocessing unit (120) on a reconfigurable fabric (124) generates a delay-Doppler map. A vision-constrained association engine (130) projects camera bounding boxes into physical coordinates via a projector (132), computes constrained search regions via a constraint generator (133), and confines peak detection to said regions.
