Abstract: A camera handling assistive device comprises of, a curved-shape body 101 developed around neck, a pair of C-shaped members 103 installed on plate 102 via a pair of L-shaped telescopically operated rods 104 for holding camera, plurality of ultrasonic sensors installed on body 101 for detecting dimensions of neck, a proximity sensor positioned on members 103 for detecting presence of camera between the members 103, a pair of laser sensors installed on members 103 for detecting dimensions of the camera, a pair of motorized sliders 106 configured between the rods 104 and plate 102 for securely gripping the camera and a microphone 109 arranged on the plate 102 for receiving voice commands from the user regarding height and tilt adjustment of the camera, a pair of motorized ball and socket joints 107 installed between the rods 104 and members 103 for tilting the members 103.
