MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641108543 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on September 10, 2026, for Calibration-Aware Quantum Circuit Dispatch Control System And Method.
Inventors include Ramya. G; Gopika S; and Dhaya Lakshmi A.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: A quantum circuit dispatch control system (100) for controlling dispatch of a quantum circuit (106) to physical quantum processing unit (QPU) hardware (120) is provided. The system (100) includes a processor (110), a memory (112), and an interface coupled to one or more quantum-processing backends (114, 116, 118). The processor (110) binds the quantum circuit (106) to a respective backend by generating a transpiled physical circuit representation and qubit mapping and associates the representation with a calibration fingerprint comprising coherence-time, gate-error, readout-error, and coupling-map information. The processor (110) determines a normalized distance between the calibration fingerprint and a live calibration snapshot and compares the distance with a fidelity-loss threshold. When the threshold is exceeded, the processor (110) generates a staleness indication and blocks or defers dispatch, or determines an alternative qubit mapping or backend satisfying a fidelity or error budget.
