Abstract: ABSTRACT CADMIUM(II) HALIDE COMPLEXES AND THE METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF The present disclosure relates to fluorescent Cadmium(II) halide complexes incorporating N-heterocyclic thione and selone ligands Cadmium(II) Halide Complexes s for Tunable Solid-State Light Emission Applications. The Cd(II) halide–chalcogenone complexes exhibit strong blue to green emission in the crystalline state upon excitation in the region approximately 310- 428 nm, confirming efficient solid-state fluorescence with quantum yields in the range of approximately 2.2 - 9.1%.
