Abstract: A cable stripping device, comprising a rectangular base 101 having four telescopic rods 102 attached underneath base 101, ends of said rods 102 are provided with motorized omnidirectional wheels 103 for a locomotion of base 101, a robotic arm 104 installed on base 101 for holding a cable for stripping, an imaging unit 105, installed on base 101 to determine cable on base 101, an annular frame 106 mounted on base 101 via a telescopic bar 107, a circular sliding unit 108 is installed along an inner surface of frame 106 and multiple pneumatic pins 109 are mounted on sliding unit 108, each of pins 109 having a blade at an end for stripping of a cover layer of cable, a hot air blower 110 installed on base 101 to direct hot air onto cable to soften cover layer, if detected thickness exceeds a threshold thickness.
