Abstract: A cable management device for external hard disc, comprising a rectangular plate 101 accessed by a user to position over surface of an external hard disc, an imaging unit 103 assembled over the plate 101 to detect diameter of cable via a laser measurement sensor configured with the plate 101, multiple motorized sliding unit 104 assembled over platform to position multiple flaps 105, multiple motorized hinge joints 106assembled in each of flap 105 to regulate shape of flaps 105 in a manner to make a channel for accommodation of the cable, a robotic arm 107assembled over the plate 101 to grip cable and engage in the channel for gripping the cable, a robotic link 110 assembled over the plate 101 to position a panel 111 configured with the link 110 over ports of the hard disc for covering ports to inhibit passage of dust within hard disc.
