Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The invention discloses a novel topical spray formulation named C-PolyShield-DM Spray, designed to promote effective and accelerated repair of diabetic wounds. The spray comprises a biocompatible polymeric system incorporated with therapeutically active components capable of fonning a protective polymeric shield over the wound surface upon application. The formulation addresses delayed healing associated with diabetes by enhancing cellular migration, angiogenesis, and extracellular matrix formation while simultaneously preventing microbial infection. The spray offers uniform coverage, sustained release of active components. and improved wound microenvironment, making it suitable for chronic, infected, and nonhealing diabetic wounds.
