Abstract: The present invention discloses a novel topical wound-healing fonmdation termed CBioRegen- DM Spray, specifically designed for the treatment of diabetic wounds. The formulation comprises a biocompatible polymeric system incorporated with a marine macroalgae extract derived from Smgassum muticum as a primary therapeutic component, along with pham1aceutically acceptable excipients. Upon topical administration, the spray fom1s a uniform, adherent polymeric layer over the wound surface, enabling sustained release of marine bioactive compounds. The fotmulation enhances wound repair by promoting tissue regeneration, reducing inflammation, controlling microbial infection, and improving angiogenesis under diabetic conditions. The spray is non-toxic, easy to apply, and suitable for chronic diabetic wound management.
