Abstract: A bus driver safety monitoring and management system, comprising a pair of extendable segmented linkages 101 with internal locking solenoids 102 to extend and lock around the driver’s body, an identity verification module to verify driver identity, an alcohol detection unit detect alcohol levels exceeding a predefined threshold level, a first camera 110 to continuously capture the facial imagery of the driver and a second camera 119 to monitor the road conditions in real-time, an oxygen-based scent agent storage cartridge 112 to position the cartridge 112 for dispensing controlled quantities of the agent, a water storage chamber 114 incorporating a spraying nozzle 115 to precisely align and emit fine mist directed toward the driver’s facial region upon detection of prolonged eye closure, an ignition interlock unit integrated directly with the engine starter relay and configured to electronically block engine start upon detection of unauthorized access and alcohol consumption detection.
