MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641085413 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education on July 13, 2026, for Burner With Vertically Adjustable Flame-To-Vessel Distance For Optimized Heat Distribution In Heavy Duty Cooking Stove.

Abstract: A gas burner assembly with a vertically adjustable flame-to-vessel distance mechanism comprises a rigid base stand (1) supporting a fixed vessel placing stand (10) on a top deck (3). A burner holding arm (4) carrying a burner head is positioned inside the base stand (1) and is vertically adjustable relative to the vessel placing stand (10). A manual height adjuster (5) rotates a vertical threaded screw rod (6) to linearly move the burner holding arm (4) up or down. A rigid, leak-proof telescopic pipe (9) is connected parallel to the screw rod (6) to transfer fuel gas safely from an external gas inlet pipe (7) and a flame adjuster knob (8) to the moving burner head. This arrangement optimizes flame spread profiles for different vessel sizes without requiring high gas pressure.
