Abstract: Disclosed is a buckle device (100) including a male buckle portion (102), a female buckle portion (104) configured to engage with the male buckle portion (102), and a release responder (106) coupled to the male buckle portion (102). The release responder (106) is configured to disengage the male buckle portion (102) from the female buckle portion (104) when actuated. The device includes a buckle webbing (112) attached to the male buckle portion (102) and a release responder webbing (114) attached to the release responder (106). Actuation of the release responder webbing (114) causes the release responder (106) to disengage the male buckle portion (102) from the female buckle portion (104). The device further includes a hold pin (110) and a hold pin string (108) for securing and releasing the engagement between the male and female buckle portions. [Figure 1] is selected.
