The 3-bromo-2-pyridyl group is bonded through a pyridyl ring carbon bearing a bromine substituent adjacent to a pyridyl nitrogen atom. The phenyl group and the 3-bromo-2-pyridyl group form a 5,5-disubstituted hydantoin structure suitable for anticonvulsant therapy.
