Abstract: The titled invention discloses a breath-based pneumonia detection system using a gas sensor array and a Decision Tree classifier with risk analysis for early detection of pneumonia. The system comprises a breath input chamber (1), a gas sensor array (2), a microcontroller interface (3), an LCD display (4), an alert system (5), and a power supply (6). The breath input chamber receives an exhaled breath sample, and the gas io sensor array detects volatile organic compounds (VOCs) present in the sample. The detected sensor signals are processed by the microcontroller interface, which performs data acquisition, preprocessing, Decision Tree classification, and risk analysis to identify the presence and severity of pneumonia. The analyzed results are displayed on the LCD display, while the alert system generates a notification when a is predefined pneumonia condition or high-risk level is detected. The invention provides a portable, non-invasive, and intelligent system for real-time pneumonia detection and risk assessment using breath analysis.
