Abstract: ABSTRACT BRAKING MECHANISM AND BRAKE LEVER ASSEMBLY A braking mechanism and a brake assembly are disclosed. The brake assembly includes a plunger comprising a proximal end and a distal end, and a primary brake lever coupled to the plunger at the proximal end through an engager, where movement of the primary brake lever causes movement of the plunger. The brake assembly further includes a switch sensor module coupled to the plunger. The switch sensor module determines a magnitude of movement of the plunger upon movement of the primary brake lever corresponding to braking of a vehicle and generates an electrical signal in correspondence to the magnitude of the movement of the plunger, where the electrical signal is to actuate braking of the vehicle.
