Abstract: Title: BONE DENSITY ESTIMATION METHOD USING ACOUSTIC WAVE PROPAGATION AND MICROCONTROLLER BASED EVALUATION The titled invention discloses a bone density estimation method using acoustic wave propagation and microcontroller based evaluation for non-invasive assessment of bone health. The system comprises an ultrasonic sensing apparatus (1), an ultrasonic receiving apparatus (2), a bone-equivalent material (3), a piezoelectric sensing element (4), an embedded processing unit (5), a data acquisition system (6), a software analysis module (7), a classification and analysis module (8), and a power supply unit (9). The ultrasonic sensing apparatus (1) transmits acoustic waves through the bone-equivalent material (3), and the ultrasonic receiving apparatus (2) captures the transmitted signals. The embedded processing unit (5) computes acoustic parameters and integrates them with vibration data obtained from the piezoelectric sensing element (4). The software analysis module (7) processes the combined data, and the classification and analysis module (8) determines bone condition. The invention provides a non-invasive, portable, low-cost solution for continuous monitoring of bone health without exposure to ionizing radiation.
