MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511023214 A) filed by Sanskriti University on March 15, 2025, for Boarding And De-Boarding Assistive Device For Four-Wheeler Vehicle.
Inventors include Nidhi Saraswat; and Dr. Sakuldeep Singh.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A boarding and de-boarding assistive device for four-wheeler vehicle, comprising of a U-shaped extendable frame 101 constructed with a pair of plates 102 placed with side portion of a four-wheeler vehicle, multiple ultrasonic sensor to determine dimensions of the side portion of the vehicle, a speaker to notify the user for accommodating the plates 102 on the side portion, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 104 to monitor opening of front and rear door of the vehicle, a motorized slider 105 to move and position a platform 106 near to the front or rear door of the vehicle, an LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) for monitoring intensity of light in surroundings, multiple LED (Light Emitting Diode) lights 107 for increasing visibility of the platform 106.
