Abstract: ABSTRACT BLOOD EXTRACTION DEVICE The present subject matter discloses a blood extraction device 100 comprising a main body 102 defining an internal cavity 102a including a 5 vacuum chamber 104 and a lancet assembly 106. The lancet assembly 106 includes a lancet spring 106a and a needle 106b aligned with a skin-contact opening formed at a lower surface of the main body 102. An adhesive layer 110 is disposed on the lower surface of the main body 102 and is configured to attach the device to a user’s skin such that the region is sealed around 10 the skin-contact opening. An actuator knob 112 is mounted on a top surface 102b of the main body 102 and is mechanically coupled to a rotating valve 114b positioned within the internal cavity 102a. Rotation of the actuator knob 112 actuates the lancet spring to drive the needle toward the skin- contact opening and applies vacuum for blood extraction.
