Abstract: [075] The present invention discloses a Blockchain-Enabled Secure Digital Identity Verification and Trust Management System comprising an identity enrollment module, multi-source identity verification engine, cryptographic credential generation module, distributed blockchain ledger, privacy-preserving verification module, trust evaluation module, credential lifecycle management module, fraud detection module, consent and access control module, and relying-party verification interface. The system receives and validates identity evidence including digital documents, biometric information, institutional credentials, and other identity attributes, and generates a digitally signed verifiable identity credential following successful verification. A cryptographic representation of the credential and associated status information is recorded on a distributed ledger while sensitive personally identifiable information is maintained within an encrypted identity vault. The system enables selective disclosure and/or zero-knowledge proof-based verification so that a relying party can establish satisfaction of an identity condition without obtaining unnecessary personal information. A dynamic trust evaluation mechanism evaluates credential validity, issuer reliability, biometric confidence, authentication history, device characteristics, revocation status, and anomalous activity to determine an identity trust state. A credential lifecycle mechanism manages issuance, activation, suspension, renewal, expiration, and revocation, while a fraud detection module identifies abnormal identity-related activity. The invention thereby provides a tamper-evident, privacy-aware, cryptographically verifiable, interoperable, and auditable framework for secure digital identity verification across multiple independent organizations and digital services.
