Abstract: Provided is a blast furnace operation method capable of further reducing the amount of carbon dioxide discharged from a blast furnace under a stable operation. A first reducing gas containing carbon monoxide and a second reducing gas containing at least one among hydrocarbon and hydrogen are used as blowing reduction materials, and the first reducing gas is heated before blowing into the inside of the blast furnace.
