Abstract: The present invention BioTrack relates to an IoT-based Biogas Plant Monitoring System designed to automate and optimize the monitoring, management, and operation of biogas production facilities. The system incorporates an ESP32 microcontroller interfaced with a set of sensors to monitor key parameters including methane gas concentration (MQ-4), gas pressure (MPX5700AP), gas flow rate (FS300A), and digester temperature (DS18B20). These sensors continuously collect real-time data which is processed by the microcontroller and transmitted wirelessly via Wi-Fi. A dedicated mobile application, receives and displays the real-time data, allowing users to monitor the biogas plant remotely from Android devices. The app features live dashboards, historical data tracking, and intelligent notification alerts for events such as low gas levels, high pressure, manure reminders, or when the gas cylinder reaches full capacity. The system also includes a feature for estimating gas production time based on the quantity and type of manure added, using predefined fermentation models. BioTrack invention improves efficiency, safety, and convenience in biogas plant operations, reduces manual labor, and supports proactive maintenance. The system is scalable, cost-effective, and suitable for both rural and urban installations, forming a smart solution for sustainable energy monitoring.
