Abstract: The present invention relates to a biomimetic machine vision system using nanomaterial-integrated imaging sensors for advanced intelligent visual perception. The system comprises a nanomaterial-based imaging sensor array, adaptive optics module, neuromorphic processing engine, and artificial intelligence inference system configured to emulate biological visual perception mechanisms. The invention employs nanomaterials including graphene, quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, perovskites, and transition metal chalcogenides for enhanced optical sensitivity, low-light imaging, and energy-efficient sensing. The neuromorphic architecture performs event-driven visual processing for real¬time object recognition, motion analysis, contextual interpretation, and autonomous decision¬making. The system further supports multimodal imaging, edge computing, adaptive learning, and distributed collaborative intelligence. The invention provides improved sensitivity, reduced power consumption, faster response time, enhanced environmental adaptability, and superior machine vision performance suitable for robotics, autonomous vehicles, healthcare, defense, industrial automation, agriculture, and smart infrastructure applications.
