Abstract: ABSTRACT BIOMETRIC IDENTITY-ANCHORED ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH CONSENT ENFORCEMENT AND INDEPENDENT VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE-BASED AUTHENTICATION A biometric-anchored electronic signature system (100) and method (200) are disclosed. The system (100) comprises a biometric capture and verification device (102) configured to authenticate a user and generate a single-use, time-bound identity-attested signing authorization (IASA), a signing control engine (104) configured to validate the IASA and enforce user consent and intent, a document processing engine (106) configured to generate a canonical representation of an electronic document and compute a hash thereof, and a signature object generator (108) configured to generate a cryptographically signed biometric signature object binding the hash, a biometric identity reference, and consent and intent indicators. The biometric signature object is stored in an immutable repository (110) and is independently verifiable. The method (200) includes authenticating (202), generating (204) the IASA, canonicalizing (206) an electronic document and computing a hash, validating (208), generating (210) the biometric signature object, cryptographically signing (212), and storing (214) the biometric signature object for independent verification without reliance on a certificate authority.
