Abstract: ABSTRACT Title of Invention: Biomass based Fuel Heating System for Pigsty The present invention relates to a fuel heating system comprising aligning rods (12) of support structure (3) for supporting plurality of beehive briquette as batch fuel source; cylindrical casing (7) covered with top cover (1) enclosing the support structure (3) of the plurality of beehive briquette fuel source with plurality of inlet holes (11) and exhaust holes (5) on said cylindrical casing and top cover respectively; whereby rate of burning of said beehive briquette fuel source is selectively regulated by amount of air supplied through said plurality of inlet holes on said cylindrical casing and exhaust holes on said top cover for controlled heat release and generation of favorable temperature to ambient surroundings including pigsty for long duration free of requirement of external power supply and human intervention. A method of heating ambient surroundings including pigsty by the fuel heating system of the invention is also provided.
