MUMBAI, India, June 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641071176 A) filed by Sr University on June 08, 2026, for Biomarker Sensing System.
Inventors include Dr. K Srishailam; and Dr. G. Nagaraju.
The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.
Abstract: A biomarker sensing system, comprising a plurality of conjugated nanostructures, each nanostructure comprising at least one quantum dot optically coupled with at least one magnetic nanoparticle, at least one bio-recognition molecule attached to a surface of the conjugated nanostructure and configured to selectively bind a target biomarker, a sample receiving region configured to contain a biological sample, an excitation source configured to excite the quantum dot, a detector configured to detect an optical signal emitted by the quantum dot and a magnetic field generating unit configured to apply a controllable magnetic field to the sample receiving region, the controllable magnetic field is operable to transport, concentrate, separate, or wash the conjugated nanostructures within the biological sample to improve detection sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio for detection of the target biomarker.
