Abstract: Title: Biological Control Agent Isaria fumosorosea for Whitefly Control in Solanaceae Crops The present invention relates to a bio-pesticide formulation for the control of whitefly populations in Solanaceae crops, such as tomato and brinjal, using Isaria fumosorosea fungus. The formulation consists of a liquid solution containing an effective concentration of Isaria fumosorosea spores, stabilized with agents like Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and glycerol to improve the stability and efficacy of the product. The bio-pesticide can be applied to crops in both greenhouse and field settings to reduce whitefly infestations. This formulation is environmentally friendly, leaves no harmful residues, and is compatible with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies. The bio-pesticide not only targets whiteflies but also promotes healthier crop development, increased flowering, and improved yield. This solution offers a sustainable alternative to conventional chemical.
