Abstract: A biodegradable multifunctional dining utility device (1) comprising a housing body (10) including a top shell (101) and a bottom shell (102), a plurality of food handling members (20) including a spoon member (201), a fork or spork member (202), and chopstick members (203), a sliding selector mechanism (30), a cam plate (40), a guided track arrangement (50) having internal rails (501) and guide paths (502), utensil carriers (60), and a locking mechanism (70) including a detent ball (701) and a flexure spring (702). The sliding selector mechanism (30) selectively actuates a desired food handling member (20) through coordinated interaction with the cam plate (40), guided track arrangement (50), and utensil carriers (60), while retaining non-selected food handling members in a stored condition within the housing body (10). It is manufactured from biodegradable composite materials comprising wheat straw and bio-based polymeric binders to provide a reusable, hygienic, portable, and environmentally sustainable dining utility device.
