Abstract: TITLE: BIODEGRADABLE MEDICINE DISPENSING SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED MOISTURE-CONTROL COMPARTMENT AND TIMED RELEASE MECHANISM APPLICANT: MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a biodegradable medicine dispensing system for organized storage, moisture protection, and controlled dispensing of pharmaceutical products. The system comprises a container body fabricated from biodegradable polymeric materials including polylactic acid (PLA) or polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), defining multiple compartments for storing unit-dose medicines. A moisture-control mechanism integrated within the lid, sidewalls, or base includes desiccant chambers, silica gel inserts, activated clay, biodegradable moisture-absorbing films, or chitosan coatings for maintaining a low-humidity environment and preserving medicine stability. A mechanical sequential dispensing mechanism comprising a rotatable dial, sliding partitions, spring-assisted release structures, or gravity-assisted arrangements enables timed and controlled access to medicines without electronic components. The moisture-control mechanism and dispensing mechanism are functionally integrated with the biodegradable container body to provide simultaneous humidity protection and scheduled dispensing. The invention improves medication adherence, reduces pharmaceutical degradation, minimizes plastic waste, and provides an environmentally sustainable solution for pharmaceutical storage and dispensing applications
