Abstract: TITLE: BIODEGRADABLE LIPSTICK-STYLE TABLET DISPENSER WITH CONTROLLED SINGLE-DOSE ROTATIONAL DELIVERY MECHANISM APPLICANT: MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a biodegradable lipstick-style medicine dispensing device for controlled single-dose dispensing of pharmaceutical tablets. The device comprises an elongated cylindrical outer housing having an upper protective cap, a central medicine storage chamber and a lower rotational actuation base. The medicine storage chamber accommodates vertically stacked pharmaceutical tablets and includes moisture-control means. A rotational actuation system operatively coupled to an internal helical lift platform advances the tablets towards a dose-metering disc assembly having a precision-dimensioned metering cavity configured to receive a single tablet. A ratchet-based incremental rotation mechanism controls rotational movement, while a spring-assisted reset mechanism restores the dispensing mechanism after actuation. A dispensing aperture having a beveled edge permits release of the metered tablet, and a locking arrangement prevents unintended actuation. An internal sealing ring provides sealing at the protective cap. The device thereby provides portable, controlled and single-tablet medicine dispensing in a compact biodegradable lipstick-style configuration.
