Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION BIOACTIVE FORMULATION AND BIODEGRADABLE RESORBABLE MEMBRANE The present invention relates to formulations for the management of periodontitis. Particularly, the present invention relates to a bioactive formulation for periodontal tissue regeneration and a process for preparing the formulation. The bioactive formulation is cost-effective, biocompatible, and provides antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and regenerative effects and helps in periodontal tissue regeneration. The present also provides a biodegradable resorbable membrane comprising the bioactive formulation and a process for preparation thereof.
