Abstract: A bio-energy harvesting device, comprising a housing 101 supported by multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 102 with an integrated LIDAR (light detection and ranging) sensor to monitor the navigation path and detect obstacles and provide controlled mobility to the housing 101, an imaging unit 103 with a first ultrasonic sensor to monitor the surrounding environment and detect the presence of biomass, a vacuum blower 104 to collect organic biomass into the housing 101, an articulated arm 105 equipped with an inspection module to detect non-organic waste items in the environment, and retrieve and position the items in a compartmentalized storage chamber, a shredding chamber 112 incorporating a motorized shredder 114 and a load cell 115 to shred the biomass into uniform fragments and monitor the cumulative weight of the harvested organic waste.
