Abstract: ABSTRACT BIFLEX HOOK The present invention relates to a surgical tissue retraction instrument termed "BIFLEX HOOK." The instrument comprises two skin- hook working ends connected through an adjustable caliper mechanism and operated through a common handle assembly. The spacing between the hooks may be selectively adjusted and secured using a locking mechanism. The instrument enables simultaneous dual-point retraction of skin and subcutaneous tissues using a single instrument, thereby reducing the requirement for multiple retractors and assisting personnel. The invention improves surgical field exposure, enhances procedural efficiency, and is particularly useful in oral and maxillofacial surgery and other surgical disciplines requiring controlled soft tissue retraction.
