MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511015550 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 22, 2025, for Bicycle Training Assistive Device For Children.
Inventors include Dr. Naresh Pratap; and Dr. Achal Kiran.

Abstract: A bicycle training assistive device for children, comprises of a Y-shaped frame 101 having one horizontal extendable rod 102 and a pair of extendable poles 103, developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a seating unit 104 arranged on conjunction of the rod 102 and poles 103 for enabling a user to accommodate a child, an imaging unit 105 integrated in the frame 101 to determine body dimensions of the child, a T-shaped handle 106 coupled axially with the rod 102 that is to be gripped by the child, a primary motorized wheel 108 attached on lower ends of the handle 106, a pair of rear motorized wheels 109 arranged at each of the pole to rotate for maneuvering the device over the surface, and a motion sensor to monitor riding proficiency of the child.
