Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a bearing-size adapter system comprising a platform-side receiving assembly mountable on a common bearing test platform, a hollow drive spindle rotatably supported by the platform-side receiving assembly, an inner adapter shaft selected from a plurality of inner adapter shafts, a locking member, and an outer locator member selected from a plurality of outer locator members. The hollow drive spindle comprises a standardized axial receiving bore and a spindle locking aperture. The inner adapter shaft comprises a common insertion shank received in the standardized axial receiving bore, a shaft locking aperture aligned with the spindle locking aperture, and a size-specific bearing seat for receiving an inner region of a selected test bearing. The locking member is received through the aligned apertures. The outer locator member comprises a common platform-mounting profile and a size-specific bearing-receiving profile for locating an outer region of the selected test bearing.
