Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and in particular to a beamforming training method and apparatus, aiming to avoid collision of frames in a time domain in a beamforming training process and improve beamforming training efficiency. The method comprises: a first communication apparatus (such as an AP) receives first indication information from a second communication apparatus (such as a STA), the first indication information indicating an optimal transmission sector of the first communication apparatus; the first communication apparatus transmits second indication information to the second communication apparatus, the second indication information indicating a first time slot group in which the first communication apparatus receives a first frame; and the first communication apparatus uses the optimal transmission sector to receive the first frame from the second communication apparatus in the first time slot group.
